Things to do in NJ

Zoos and aquariums are important to every state. They help preserve and save endangered species. They care for wounded wildlife and sea life. Animals are nursed to health at these sanctuaries. By visiting these beautiful animals, money is raised towards their survival. New Jersey has a large variety of zoos and aquariums that can be visited. I personally have been to five. My favorite to visit is the Cape May County Park and Zoo. It does not have a set price; at the entrance there is a mail box where they will accept any donation that can be made. Cape May has lions, snow leopards, giraffes, bears, camels, deer, birds, foxes, a reptile house, a bird house, a petting zoo, and much more. They have a large park with a playground and many picnic tables next to coal grills. This is a great place to spend the entire day. There is plenty to do and see at this zoo. Escape rooms are important for snowy or rainy New Jersey days. They’re perfect for date nights, birthdays, or any celebration. Many companies go to escape rooms to help with team building. They are a great way to really understand how the people around you work and think. When booking an escape room, the players have an opportunity to pick the difficulty level and the theme of the room. The three themes that I have done were the Laboratory, Wizarding Hour, and T-Rex Lockdown. The difficulty has gone up with each room that I have completed. They were all incredibly fun and exciting. The object of an escape room is escaping the room! The workers explain the theme and then leave you with a tv displaying a count down. They give you an hour and the timer counts down by the second. You have to explore the room and find clues. You have to work together to put the clues together to make a coherent thought. NJ is known for their beaches. Who would I, a New Jerseyan, be if I had never been to the beautiful beaches? NJ has 130 gorgeous miles of Atlantic Ocean coastline. It starts in the north at Sandy Hook and spreads south to Cape May. There are a total of 44 beaches with plenty to do. I personally have been to four beaches, Wildwood, Atlantic City, Ocean City, and Cape May. In South Jersey though, we call it “going down the shore” when we reference the beach. My favorite beach is Wildwood because I grew up there. I was there every summer and spent most of my time in the water. I love the ocean and swimming with the waves. Of course the ocean and sand is a major part of the beach experience but I can’t forget about the boardwalk, arcades, rides, shops, and restaurants. My favorite thing to do on the boardwalk was to ride my bike with my family in the morning. They allow bike rides from 5am to 11am in the summer and we would rent bikes from our favorite ice cream/mini golf place, ...
